Today we got news that a family friend had said goodbye to his earth life. It was sudden, unexpected news. Immediately, the words he spoke when we last met came to mind...They are planted in my memory and resonate through today's storm.

I encourage you... Tell someone today. Tell them how much they mean to you. Tell them how beautiful they are. Tell them you appreciate them. Tell them it will be okay. Tell them you forgive them. Tell them you care.

Tyla

This little girl is so precious. I was lucky to take her photos only 5 days after she was introduced into the world. She was a great sport, and fell asleep with the entire family looking on. Thanks Jonathan and Brya!

Rebekah

I'm blessed with such lovely friends. First day of snow was a perfect backdrop for Rebekah.

Clouds

Clouds.

They provide lovely lighting for photos, but they also bring rain. Drew and Londa brought Kaia to Altona for her 3 year photos. She was a cute little ray of sunshine on this rainy day! 

She grown so much in one year. She talked my ear off about birds, leaves, her new brother Grayson and how she wishes she could fly...

 Caught a quick one of Mommy and Grayson while Kaia stood by and instructed,"Say Cheese, Grayson!" 

Growing

This sweet family is growing! Myla just turned two, and there's another little one on the way. I had a wonderful time at their farm in the country. The afternoon was lovely, and I had a blast capturing Myla's antics and the anticipation of the baby soon to come.

Love

Jonathan and Julie. What a blessing this couple is. Their love for God and each other is lived out... I had a great time chasing the sunset, sharing laughs and capturing so many sweet moments with them.

Family in Autumn

John and Rashell and their family are such a wonderful bunch. I had a blast with them this afternoon! The October weather was so warm...and the golden fall colors were stunning.

This photo is my favourite out of the entire bunch. The relationship between this father and daughter is a beautiful portrayal and testimony of God's love for his children.

Sisters

Madison and Cassidy. I got to spend an evening on the farm with these lovely ladies this week. It's so much fun to watch the sisters work together, and spend time together. Thanks for letting me hang out with you on this gorgeous Fall evening.

Fall for Spices

It's Fall!

With Fall comes the smell of spices and delicious food. Something about Autumn encourages us to pull out our spice racks. A few weeks ago we took out the Garlic, oregano, pepper and cumin combined with some fresh chopped garden veggies and made jars of spicy salsa. There's nothing quite like preserving the harvest to enjoy during the short, chilly days of Winter.

God is able to make all grace abound to you, 

so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times,

Family

Meaghan and Corey have a beautiful family... and just welcomed little Caziah Olive. It was a perfect Summer day and I had a lovely time on their farm, drinking coffee with maple syrup, eating Meaghan's freshly pickled beans and hunting squirrels with two year old Kai.
